Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a 2,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work will consist of asphalt paving, lot striping, concrete sidewalk and curb, as well as installing a 4 fence and landscaping area. The work also includes the demolition and removal of the existing concrete sidewalk, curb, gravel, sign, and chain link fence for the 1200 N. 10th Street parking lot. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Reading Parking Authority. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractors Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. Reading Parking Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Authority. Reading Parking Authority also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received. Bids will be publicly awarded on or before July 31, 2023 at 4:30pm (local time). Question Deadline 05/19/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
