Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work will consist of demolition of existing sidewalk & curb, constructing an ADA ramp, paving two driveway aprons, and new concrete sidewalk & curb along the frontage of 420 Spring Garden Street. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Reading Parking Authority. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractors Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. Reading Parking Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Authority. Reading Parking Authority also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received. Bids will be publicly awarded on or before July 31, 2023 at 4:30pm (local time).
