The purpose of this contract is to assist the Kenton County Fiscal Court in providing a wide range of design services for Public Works administering projects on an as-needed basis. Kenton County does not prescribe the method by which bids/proposals are to be transmitted; therefore, it cannot be held responsible for any delay, regardless of the reason, in transmission of the bids/proposals. Facsimile or e-mailed bids/proposals will not be accepted Consultant Services are needed to provide design services for a wide variety of projects at the direction of Kenton County Public Works that have contracted with Kenton County Fiscal Court to administer projects. The selected Consultants will be responsible for working with Kenton County Public Works to administer projects. The selected consultant must have the capacity to provide the following design services: Roadway Design Sidewalk Design Streetscape Design Structural Design Building Design Land Surveying Utility/Railroad Coordination Property Boundary Determination Architecture Site Design Services, including landscaping Historic Property Restoration/Rehabilitation Construction Document Preparation (Including but not Limited to: Proposals, Specifications, and Estimates) Construction Engineering (Including but not limited to Inspection Services) Review of Various Engineering Documents for Compliance with Federal and State Policies Planning Services Environmental Services Geotechnical Design Kenton County reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this Request for Bids/Proposals, accept or reject any or all bids/proposals or any portion thereof, or to accept an alternate bid/proposal. Kenton County reserves the right to waive any immaterial defect in any bid. Kenton County may seek clarification from any bidder/offeror at any time and failure to respond promptly is cause for rejection.
