Site work and paving for a road / highway in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 12, 2023, project was awarded to New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co Inc , awarded amount is $ 146, 277. 55. Contractor shall install an 9.5 MM 1.5-Inch SRL-H, PG64-22S 0.3-3 million ESALs Asphalt Overlay, complete in place as per PennDOT Publication 408, Section 413. Contractor will be responsible for traffic control per PennDOT Pub. 213. Contractor must notify affected residents in a format approved by the Township. Contractor shall provide 2" milling complete in place at all necessary butt joint locations along curb lines (2") and all applicable inlet locations. Contractor will be responsible for hauling and proper disposal of milled material. Contractor shall sweep the entire project with a pick-up type street sweeper during the milling operation and immediately prior to the Asphalt Overlay placement. A tack coat shall be applied prior to placement of the Asphalt Overlay. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/15/2023 5:00 PM
