Supply and install new FRPn sheet pile bulkheads with concrete infill; demolish/dispose existing mooring piles, timber cap and fenders;n install new mooring piles and reinforced concrete cap, and all incidental work thereto. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to the removal and disposal of the following: 1. Mooring piles and other steel piles. Contractors attention is drawn to the presence of a low level (below low water) bracket connecting the piles to the existing bulkhead and the poor condition of some of the steel piles. 2. Disconnecting and extraction for reuse of two steel mooring piles. 3. Timber fenders , caps, fender piles, wales, chocks 4. Bulkhead attachments including, but not limited to, ladders, gangway platforms, pile brackets. 5. Chipping and removing concrete obstructing completion of the work 6. Timber boardwalk obstructing completion of the work 7. Cutting and disposal excess parts of existing mooring pile brackets. 8. Unsuitable material from excavations including dewatering 9. Miscellaneous hardware, steel angles, pieces of timber, concrete, rubble and other material which are encountered during the course of work which interferes with work specified to be done. Scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing, manufacturing or shop-fabricating metal elements, and installation as follows: 1. Wales, splices and connections 2. Brackets for mooring piles 3. Gangway Landing and Supports 4. Railing and gates at Gangway Landing 5. Modification to existing gangways for attachment to new landing 6. Ladders 7. Modified Pipe Stanchions including reinstallation of Timber Guardrail -Removal of existing shore power receptacles and associated connectors and cabling to pedestals mounted to floating piers. Conduit and wiring feeding shore power receptacles and pedestals mounted to floating piers are existing to remain. -Installation of a new sheetpile bulkhead and seawall cap; -Removal and replacement of mooring piles and fenders. a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
