San Juan County is seeking a contractor to construct approximately 80 feet of pedestrian improvements, including concrete sidewalks, ramps, and stairs. The work also includes saw cutting of pavement and removal of rubble, structure excavation, placement and compaction of crushed rock, cement concrete placement and flatwork. The project site is located on Prune Alley in Eastsound, Washington, on Orcas Island. Bids shall be submitted as lump sum bid and all work should be performed in accordance with the contract plans, contract provisions, and WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction (Std. Spec.), 2023 edition. Estimated Cost: $25,000 - 30,000 This bid invitation is being distributed to potential bidders listed on the MRSC small works roster for San Juan County in the Concrete & Masonry subcategory of Concrete Flatwork and the Earthwork subcategory of Excavation and Trucking, and may be obtained along with the forms and plans online. Qualified bidders must be contractors registered with MRSC Small Works Rosters for San Juan County in an appropriate service category, by the time of bid submission. The County is not holding a pre-bid conference for this project. The project sites are open to bidders for inspection.
