The City of Weyburn (the City) is seeking quotations for the filling, preparing and paving of the following street locations within the City of Weyburn: 1st Avenue 60 m West to 45 m East of 16th Street 16th Street 112 m South of 1st Avenue to 11 m north of 1st Avenue There are two design alternatives, as described below. Proponents may bid on one or both alternatives. Alternative A - Asphalt Concrete Surface The scope of work will consist of removal and reconstruction of the existing asphalt surface via milling and disposal of asphaltic pavement, notching and widening existing lanes, placement and compaction of granular material, adjustment to grade of manholes, supply and placement of asphaltic overlay pavement, relocation and installation of signs, curb and gutter removal and installation and application of painted markings. Alternative B - Portland Cement Concrete and Asphalt Concrete Surface The scope of work will consist of removal and reconstruction of the existing asphalt surface via milling and disposal of asphaltic pavement, notching and widening existing lanes, placement and compaction of granular material, adjustment to grade of manholes, supply and placement of asphaltic overlay pavement on 16th Street, supply and placement of Portland Cement Concrete overlay pavement on 1st Avenue, relocation and installation of signs, curb and gutter removal and installation and application of painted markings.
