Project Description: Block 407 is a five-acre block located on South Temple between G Street and H Street that is home to the historic Kearns Mansion and Carriage House, the Glendinning Home, an associated state-owned parking lot, and three privately owned multi-family residential buildings. A master plan (the "Block 407 Master Plan") was recently completed that outlines a series of projects to improve the functionality of the site, improve the utilization of the buildings, and improve overall safety on the block, while at the same time furthering historic preservation and seeking opportunities for historic rehabilitation on the site. The purpose of this solicitation is to select an A/E Team to provide the design and construction administration services needed to carry out these projects. In addition, this selection will cover design services for miscellaneous projects for the Block 407 site that are funded over the next three fiscal years. These projects will primarily be capital improvement projects funded in fiscal years 2024-2026. In the event that Block 407 Master Plan projects continue beyond 2026, an additional 1 - 2 years of additional A/E services may be added to ensure continuity and cohesion of projects carried out on the block.
