Renovation of a stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
As of July 26, 2019, architects have been selected. Construction on the new south end zone is scheduled to begin after the 2019 football season and will be completed by August 2021. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) project includes implementation of an end zone expansion that will enhance the current stadium to become comparable with the best Division 1 and Pac-12 facilities. The first step in achieving this overall project vision includes creation of additional revenue generating opportunities for Auxiliary Services, improved fan experience areas, upgraded crowd flow and operational efficiency throughout Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Division of Facilities Construction & Management reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the State. Required Substantial Completion Date- Wednesday, June 30, 2021 Start Construction December 01, 2019 Substantial Completion August 01, 2021 Shortlist Confirmed as of May 20, 2019
