As of July 3, 2024, this project has been completed. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. A detailed scope has not been released. The museum will occupy the 5,000-square-foot Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. The aquarium will renovate the space, which is vacant, and add 15 exhibits. The museum will feature turtles, amphibians, insects and fish native to the Great Lakes region. The standalone center is located on Niagara Falls State Park property 500 feet southwest of the aquarium's main building. Turner Construction is accepting Subcontract Proposals for construction of a new exhibit for the Aquarium of Niagara. Prime and 2nd tier contracting opportunities available.
