**As of June 02, 2023, No bid received for the project. No definite date for the rebid.** Subsequent site visits will be permitted but bidders shall give notice the day prior. No staff will attend or answer questions during subsequent site visits. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening. State statutes and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job.The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedures. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final. Questions and interpretation during bidding. (a) If a Bidder finds a discrepancy or omission in the Bid Documents, or is in doubt as to the meaning of any requirement or term, the Bidder must notify the Town at least five business days prior to the Bid Deadline. The failure of the Bidder to request clarification prior to submitting the bid waives the Bidder's right to claim any ambiguity or discrepancy in the documents SCHEDULE OF ALTERNATES 1. Alternate No.1: Provide all renovation, restoration, and demolition work as outlined in the Drawings for the South Facade Restoration. 3. Alternate No.2: Provide all renovation, restoration, and demolition work as outlined in the Drawings for the roof and soffit renovation for the Broadview Mansion 4. Alternate No.3: Provide all renovation and restoration work as outlined in the Drawings for the Broadview Mansion Bell Tower. 5. Alternate No.4: Provide all renovation and restoration work as outlined in the Drawings for the Ecology Action Center
