Site work and paving for a civil project in Traverse City, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project includes removal and replacement of the asphalt and concrete pavement as well as constructing new watermain on Veterans Drive between 14th Street and City Limits. The existing curb and gutter will be retained. Sidewalk will be infilled on the west side, north of Boughey Street. Concepts for reducing speeds and stormwater management are being developed. Watermain will be replaced and is accounted for in 1016-22-CIP. As of May 19, 2023, this project is included in the City of Traverse City FY 2023-2028. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
