The Contractor shall provide portable equipment to be set up at locations designated by Placer County. 3.1. Contractor shall maintain ownership of the units. 3.2. The units shall meet or exceed all applicable health and safety standards. 3.3. The units may be subject to crowd traffic and must withstand heavy use. 3.4. Units shall be constructed of modern distortion-proof materials that are extremely tough and resist cracking and breaking in extreme heat or cold. Additionally, they shall be impact resistant and bend without breaking to minimize damage of handling and vandalism and maximize privacy. 3.5. Units shall have a translucent roof to maximize lighting. 3.6. Design of the units shall be of modular design to facilitate on-site replacement of components and minimize maintenance or replacement down time. 3.7. The urinal and toilet seats are to be separated from one another as far as possible to provide maximum user comfort. 3.8. Receptacle tanks shall be designed to control spillage and leakage and entrap odors. The unit’s interior shall be vented sufficiently to reduce odor as much as possible. 3.9. All units shall have interior latches and hardware of sufficient strength and design to assure privacy.
