Renovation of an educational facility in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Kenora District Services Board invites tenders for the remediation of the concrete coal storage room at the former Queen Elizabeth School. The project scope includes the filling of the coal room with granular material in order to support the existing exterior concrete roof slab that is showing signs of deterioration. The coal room slab is in the central courtyard of the building and is only accessible from the building interior. The remediation work will take place during summer holidays (July & August) and the work must be completed prior to September 1, 2023, in time for the start of the school year.
