Upon acceptance of a bid, the Alachua County HousingAuthority will notify the successful party whom will then have five (5) calendar days to submit a cashiers check or money order in the full amount of the bid and remove the items. Sale shall be final with no refunds granted. Equipment is sold as- with no warranties expressedor implied including, but not limited to, warranty for fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. All hazardous waste has been removed from the a/c items; however the awardeeshall be responsible for appropriate handling of said items. Refrigerators may still containrefrigerant. It shall be the responsibility of the bidding parties to make themselves aware of the conditions of any item being bid on and the potential for hazardous materials within.
