Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Edwardsville, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and parking garage.
The Scope of Work includes the demolition and removal of a 1,008 square foot residential housing unit including the basement, a 288 square foot attached garage, and existing site paving on a .39-acre site located at 111 S. 4th Street, Edwardsville, KS 66111. The site will be restored using normal industry standards including seeding and erosion control matting as necessary. In no case shall the site be allowed to retain water in pools or ponds on the site. The use of fill material acceptable to the City may be required. According to the Wyandotte Appraiser's Office, the primary structure was built in 1930 with a basement and an attached garage was added in 1989. Pictures of the structure are attached. Bidders shall be responsible to ensure all utilities have been properly disconnected and to conduct any necessary asbestos assessments. Bidders shall be required to obtain a demolition permit from the City of Edwardsville and have an active business license. The demolition permit fee shall be waived for this Project.
