Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Islamorada, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A "Cone of Silence"is hereby imposed prohibiting communications in connection with this bid or the Project. The Cone of Silence shall be in effect from the time of issuance of this bid through the time the services or Project procured through this bid are formally awarded through the approval of the Village Council. It is the sole responsibility of proposing firms to ensure that their submittal is received in a timely manner. Any proposal package submitted past the deadline and/or submitted to other locations or offices shall be deemed non-responsive and will be rejected. Duration of Cone of Silence. The Cone of Silence shall terminate upon approval of the contract by the Village Council The successful proposer shall construct a 55 linear foot seawall repair, a 410 square-foot kayak launch, a 165 square-foot boardwalk, and installation of new riprap along 700 square feet of the side of the boat basin, large chunk armor stone along the east side of the boat basin and fill in the uplands to level existing grade elevations. Also contained within the scope is the filling and capping of an existing residential well adjacent to the canal. Questions arising from any site visits must be submitted in writing to mary.swaney@islamorada.fl.us no later than July 28, 2023 and shall be answered through written addenda as provided in Section II of this document.
