Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Ottawa, Illinois will receive sealed bids for replacement of concrete curb & gutter on various streets. This work includes replacement of approximately 5,460 ft. of curb & gutter, 960 sy. of concrete pavement, 390 sy. of driveways, 10,430 sf. of sidewalks including 47 ramps with detectable warnings, 9 inlets with 10" diameter storm sewers, related construction, and restoration. Proposals shall be addressed to the City Clerk and shall be inserted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside Proposal for 2023 Curb Replacement Project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Contractors may obtain an electronic copy of the documents at no cost by sending an e-mail to renwick@renwick-asso ciates.com. The form of bonds or letter of credit will be satisfactory to the City. The Contractor shall pay prevailing wages as required for public contracts and conform to the requirements of a "Responsible Bidder" as defined by City Ordinance No. 062-2022. All Contractors and Subcontractors must register ($100.00 fee) annually to work in the City of Ottawa. They must also furnish a current $10,000.00 license or permit bond.
