The Mackay house and property are over one hundred years old and is primarily a wedding rental facility for the City. The City takes great pride in the building and grounds and has dedicated funding for the 22/23 budget for capital projects, as an overall plan to improve the grounds and facility This project will require the contractor to dig out and remove existing gravel and dirt in order to install and compact base material for proper paver installation. Due to the historic nature of the house, the City would like to use red brick to match the age period of the house. The parking lot and drive will need a heavy concrete boarder to contain bricks in order to prevent vehicles dislodging bricks and destroying the new asset. Some drainage will be required and is listed further in the scope of work. Cluster of palms will be removed by City. 12 parking spots can be created, please include 12 parking curb stops and use grey brick to delineate parking spaces. Please make 2 handicap parking as well.
