Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This contract includes a base bid and four alternate bids for the removal and replacement of concrete curb, sidewalk, driveway apron, and curb ramps at specified locations within Perkasie Borough. An alternate bid also involves the replacement of a trench drain on Bridge Street. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 and Borough Standards. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, including but not limited to being accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to the Borough of Perkasie. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance, performance and payment bonds for 100% of the amount of the contract and maintenance bond in such form as meets the approval of the Borough of Perkasie and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by the Borough of Perkasie. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/17/2023 4:00 PM No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner. The Borough of Perkasie reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 135 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
