shall be done in accordance with Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, as amended. It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Disadvantaged and/or Minority Business Enterprises
participate in all Federal Aid and State contracts, as applicable. Each contract will

Classification: C - $500,001 to $1,000,000 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. The Contractor is hereby advised that liquidated
damages in the amount of

and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the
latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the
Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than
$100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid
Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at
least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be
required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of
$100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
