Renovation of a museum in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of June 23, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Replace approximately 25 linear feet of deteriorated beam and 4 columns on the porch at the rear of the Wistariahurst museum building. The columns shall be constructed of African Mahogany wood or fiberglass and will match the original columns on the buildings. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, scaffolding, transportation, superintendence, coordination, insurance, permits, bonds and all other services, facilities and items necessary for the completion of the Project. The selected contractor shall be DCAMM certified in the category of "Historical Building Restoration" or provide references documenting qualifications commensurate with the scope of work. No Electronic Submissions Accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
