Site work for a water / sewer project in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Phase 2A Water Replacement Project: Work includes approximately 6,700 linear feet of new 8-inch through 16-inch ductile iron water main, hydrants, service connections including trenchless service installation, and appurtenant work; Water service transfers; Roadway repairs. The work consists of providing approximately 6,500 feet of 8-inch through 16-inch diameter ductile iron water main, new valves, hydrants, and connections to intersecting streets. The work also includes reconnecting new water services from the old water main to be abandoned to the new water main, water service trenchless technology installation, existing water service transfers, abandonment of existing water main, and surface restoration. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Work will be substantially completed within 430 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 490 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed
