Project Description:
CONTRACTOR SHALL:
Comply with the, State and Federal Codes and the requirements of local code officials. Comply with all
OSHA safety requirements. Provide all equipment and materials to complete the project. Guarantee all
work for (1) year from date of completion, unless manufacture provides longer warranty. Work to be
completed consists of the following:
1. All traffic control and protection and direction of traffic necessary for safety of
motorists as required by the Oregon Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
2. Provide all equipment, material and labor to complete installation on the selected guardrail
sites. Site visit not required, but highly recommended prior to submitting quote.
3. All posts, blocks, guardrail and rail ends to be new and of similar type unless County
Engineer allows for a change submitted in writing.
4. PROJECT SITES
Valley Creek Road Milepost 0.67
- Install new Type 2A guardrail along the North side of existing road surface.
Dolphin Road Milepost 0.29
- Retrofit all four corners of Dolphin Bridge which has thrie beam guardrail attached to
bridge.
5. Guardrail specifications for this project will conform to Part 00800 of the Oregon
Standard Specifications for Construction 2018 and supplemented by ODOT
Engineering Drawings RD 402, 409, 410,415, 420, 482, BR 233 and DET1455.
6. Contractor will complete all work between date of execution of contract and October 28,
2023.
7. All posts to be steel and blocks to be synthetic.
8. Work will be scheduled on weekdays.
9. Work must be scheduled with our office 1 week in advance for our media release.
