Renovation of a municipal facility in Lower Paxton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Successful Bidder, twenty (20) days after award of the Contract, shall deliver a bond with suitable, reasonable requirements, guaranteeing performance of the Contract or delivery to be made with sufficient surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Contract. A bank-issued letter of credit over the correct amount will also be acceptable. All bonds (e.g. bid bond, performance bond, etc.) submitted shall be with an approved surety company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. All bids must be submitted using the Form of Proposal attached to the Bidding Documents. In addition, a properly executed Non-Collusion Affidavit provided with the Bidding Documents must accompany all bids. In submitting bids, the Form of Proposal and Non-Collusion Affidavit must not be removed from the Bidding Documents. The Form of Proposal must be retyped intact as received, including proper signatures and seals, and submitted as part of the response to the Township's solicitation. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of Lower Paxton Township.
