Expected Contract Value $16-$18 million The Work consists of and includes all materials, equipment and labor necessary to furnish and install approximately 26,000 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter and 10,500 lineal feet of 10 to 18-inch diameter gravity sewer, installation/replacement of approximately 150 manholes and, replacement of approximately 520 existing laterals and building sewers, furnishing and installing approximately 8,000 linear feet of 15 to 36-inch diameter storm sewer and other miscellaneous work shown on the Drawings and noted in the Specifications. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to Lower Paxton Township in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with the provisions in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Proposal must be complete and the right is reserved to reject any and all Proposals and to accept any Proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of Lower Paxton Township. Successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within fifteen (15) days of receiving a Notice of Award letter. Bidders can utilize the PennBid Program without any initial or recurring costs. A fee 0.33% of the total work awarded, capped at $5,000, is assessed only to the bidder who is awarded the project.
