Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Oshawa, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Construction of a new bus storage, operations, maintenance & service facility in north Oshawa on vacant land. The admin, maintenance & servicing areas will be designed & constructed for 215 buses. The indoor bus storage building will be design for 122 buses with provisions for future extension to accommodate 93 additional electric buses. TIMELINE: The project is currently in the preliminary design phase only. An initial conceptual plan was created & detailed site assessments and studies on-going to inform the advancement of the design of the future facility. Phase III Archeological study be carried out summer 2025. Preliminary cost estimates came in above budget. The owner & the architect are working on a refined conceptual design to align with the budget. Updates may be available early 2026.
