The project is expected to be awarded on June 27, 2023 The Ridgewood Public Library, 125 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ, invites qualified contractors to submit bids to replace the automatic doors at the parking lot entrance of the Ridgewood Public Library as described in the RFP Specifications. All Bidders must comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. By Order of: Ridgewood Public Library Board of Trustees 125 North Maple Avenue Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450 Gail Campbell, President Replace both exterior and interior swing arm doors and assemblies with bi-parting automatic sliding doors to be ADA complaint and within the existing footprint as much as is feasible to meet safety and ADA requirements. EXTERIOR DOOR Remove the existing aluminum & glass door assembly. Fabricate, supply and install (1 ) Record 5100 series automatic bi-parting sliding door assembly approx. 95 " W x 110 " H. or equivalent Hardware shall consist of - clear anodized aluminum finish, 1 3/4 " x 4 1/2 " aluminum framing, transom, narrow stile, standard bottom rails, dual safety beams, standard 1/2" aluminum saddles, muntins, diagnostic display pad, ( 2 ) bea sensors, standards key cylinder and thumbturn, 1" insulated clear tempered safety glass. INTERIOR DOOR Remove the existing aluminum & glass door assembly. Fabricate, supply and install ( 1 ) Record 5100 series automatic bi-parting sliding door assembly approx. 95 " W x 112 " H. or equivalent. Hardware shall consist of - clear anodized aluminum finish, 1 3/4 " x 4 1/2 " aluminum framing, transom, narrow stile, standard bottom rails, dual safety beams, standard 1/2" aluminum saddles, muntins, diagnostic display pad, ( 2 ) bea sensors, standards key cylinder and thumbturn, 1/4 " clear tempered safety glass. Include caulking, garbage removal, job cleanup after completion, supervision, safety protection, 2 year warranty on parts and 1 year on labor, disconnect and re-connect power. ADD ALTERNATE Paint doors to match interior finishes.
