City of Prince George (the City) is seeking a proposal from a qualified consultant to provide a detailed roadmap of how to move our water assets from stand-alone feature classes (not in a geometric or utility network) to the utility network model. We would like to move to the utility network to be able to take advantage of network tracing and isolation, as well as getting off of the geometric network for some of our assets before support ends. We currently run an on premise version of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1. The Consultant would: Conduct stakeholder engagements to determine enterprise goals for the City's water network
Do a current state analysis of the City's water data, workflows and architecture and provide recommendations on what changes will be needed/beneficial in moving to a water utility network model including (but not limited to):
Subtypes;
Domains
Attribute rules; and Contingent values.
Provide a roadmap that would include (but not limited to):
Steps to clean up our existing data;
A new water utility network schema;
Container rules;
Steps to migrate data to the new schema:
Mapping existing features, fields and attributes to the new model; and,
Rules that need to be in place.
ArcGIS server configuration changes needed;
Services to be published;
Licensing agreement review;
Provide an empty Water Utility Network database with the above schema and rules in place.
The City would then clean up and migrate the existing water data into the new utility network using the resultant roadmap from this engagement. Upon the successful completion of this water utility network phase the City will determine whether we should proceed with phases 2-4 outlined below for other asset types. The Project will include the following phases:
