The City of Bristol owns and operates a water distribution system which supplies potable water to approximately 12,500 customers within the City’s corporate limits as well as surrounding areas of sullivan County, including four utility districts. The water system includes one filtration plant, eleven water storage tanks/reservoirs, eight remote booster stations, and approximately 280 miles of transmission and distribution mains ranging in size from 1-inch to 36-inch diameter and consisting of a variety of materials. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
