No Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for this Project. The scope of work generally includes the trenching and installation, pipe bursting, pipe reaming, or cured-in-place installation of 6-inch to 10-inch sanitary sewer pipe, localized pipe repairs, reconnections/replacement of sewer laterals, installation/replacement/rehabilitation/removal of sanitary sewer manholes, and the surface restoration of existing improvements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Engineer's Estimate is between $5,500,000 and $6,500,000. Pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 20170, each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of cash, cashier's or certified check, or bidder's bond made payable to the "City of San Carlos" for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid Amount and no bid shall be considered unless such security is enclosed therewith. The City Council reserves the privilege of rejecting any and all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for opening of proposals.
