Site work and paving for a civil project in Lanse, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of July 20 2023, the awarded bid was Bacco construction, MI for $202,988.50. The proejct will start 8/14/2023 and will be completed by the end of September 2023. The Project includes the following Work: HMA base crushing and shaping, HMA paving, aggregate shoulders, traffic control, pavement markings, and restoration. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc. 100 Portage Street, Houghton, MI 49931 (906) 482-4810 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern time and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid Bond or certified check payable to Owner shall be in an amount no less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee, that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents within (10) days after the Notice of Award and Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the bid deadline. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. 7.02 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing
