Providing and installing approximately 500lf of 7’ tall decorative wrought iron style fence, with curved tops. Contractor shall furnish all expertise, labor, materials, parts, equipment, and
incidentals necessary to provide a complete perimeter 7' high ornamental steel fence with curved top spear point pickets. Approximately 500 feet of fencing on the North and East sides of the
property. There will be one (1) three foot wide manual swinging gates, one (1) six foot wide manual swinging gate, one (1) manual eight foot wide rolling manual gate, and two (2) 16’
rolling powered gates. One of the powered gates (entrance) will use the existing card reader system and power at the existing swing arm gate, the other (exit) will use the existing power at
the existing swing arm gate. Contractor shall remove approximately 88 feet of chain link fencing at the South side of the staff parking lot. Contractor shall remove two existing swing arm gates at the North side of the staff parking lot. This is a full turn-key project, and the Contractor is to provide all necessary work required to complete the fence removal and installation. The time to complete this project is three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess the following State of California Contractor Licenses:
B or C-13 A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the County, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the County of Alameda, in the amount
of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the County for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work.
