The scope of the project is for saw cutting and removal of existing asphalt, gravel & ballast rock and installation of ADA compliant curb cut, sidewalk, curbs, gutters, concrete reinforced slabs and bollards at the new Chestnut Street Water Station located on North Chestnut Street within City of Trinidad. Delivered bids must be placed in one envelope, securely sealed and clearly labeled "CHESTNUT STREET WATER STATION PROJECT #10-2023". Bids send by a carrier service (USPS, etc.) must be sealed and clearly labeled and placed in an outer envelope for mailing. The City of Trinidad will not be responsible for premature opening of bids not properly labeled. Only bids received by the City Engineer on or before the aforesaid date and hour set for closing of this Invitation For Bid (IFB) will be eligible for consideration. Any bid received after the closing time, regardless of the method of delivery, will be returned unopened to the bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn after the closing time. All bids will be evaluated, and selections made as soon as possible after the bid opening. Award of bid is subject to approval by the Trinidad City Council. Bids shall be valid for a minimum of sixty days following the bid opening. The City of Trinidad reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award orders for the items described either in whole or in part, if it seems to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
