The budget is set for $300,000 to $400,000. The County of Val Verde is seeking request for proposals (RFP) from entities that are interested in providing a competitive sealed proposal for a turnkey project for the construction of a non-recirculating splash pad at Long Memorial Park located at 1176 Lenawee Avenue in Del Rio TX, County of Val Verde 78840. Turnkey project will consist of providing services for a design, material and construction for a splashpad area of 1,500 square feet with a concrete surface all around splash pad, artificial turf all around concrete buffer, a black chain link fence for the perimeter of the splashpad area and an enclosed unit for the equipment and pad. Questions will be received until 4:30 P.M on November 28, 2023 and should be emailed to Carlos Velarde, P.E. at cvelarde@valverdecounty.texas.gov The Contractor should be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond as required per State Law. Each bond shall be issued in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Contract will be required to furnish bonds within thirty (30) days from the contract date and before commencement of work. If the proposal includes the cost of the payment and performance bonds, it must be stated on the submitted proposal and listed as a separate line item. Val Verde County Commissioners Court reserves the right to reject or to waive any and all irregularities or informalities in the proposal. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
