Woodbury Walkway Fence with Removal Alternate Location of Work: Woodbury Middle School 206 Main Street Salem, NH 03079 SAU 38 Geremonty Drive Salem, NH 03079 Overview: The Salem School District Facilities has identified a need for a replacement Woodbury walkway fence. Appox: 900 feet of 4 Ft. black double rail coated chain link fence. To run both sides of the walkway. In addition appox: 30 Ft. of 4Ft. black double rail coated chain link fence to be added between the corner of maintenance garage and the field side walkway fence. Add alternate pricing for removal and disposal of existing fence. Detail Plans & Specifications: Site visit will be optional. Schedule for Startup: July 1st, 2023. Schedule of Completion: Completion, acceptance by August 1st, 2023. Constraints/Coordination Requirements: There will be SAU and maintenance staff using the SAU and maintenance garage parking area between the hours of 5 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in and out of the facilities during this period. Scope of Services: - The contractor shall provide all tools and equipment required to complete this work. - The contractor shall be responsible for disposing of all existing blacktop and base materials required during this work. - The contractor shall be solely responsible for the methods of construction, supervision of personnel and construction, control of machinery, safety in, on, or about the job site and compliance with OSHA regulations. - The contractor shall be responsible for meeting all codes that apply to the demolition, installation and completion of this work. - The contractor shall be responsible for policing and securing the area and his equipment when stopping work for the day. - In the event of undiscovered conditions, the contractor shall stop all work and notify the client. - As a requirement of sign-of at the project completion, the contractor shall file with the Director of Maintenance, all equipment and installation warranty certificates. All bids shall be clearly marked "WOODBURY WALKWAY FENCE WITH REMOVAL ALTERNATE BID". Salem School Board will review and award the bid on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. All vendors will be contacted following this award.
