Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Townsend, Delaware. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Pre-bid Meeting: No New Castle County The improvements consist of furnishing all labour and materials for the rehabilitation of existing bridge and placement of scour countermeasures. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. All work on this contract must be complete within 75 Calendar Days. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7F, weather days. It is estimated a Notice to Proceed is issued such that work starts on or about August 21, 2023.
