The City of Newport Beach (City) is requesting proposals to design for replacing the existing synthetic turf athletic field and dirt softball infield with a proposed synthetic turf system, replace concrete walkways, ADA curb ramps, seal coat and restripe the existing parking lot, replace fencing, and retrofit the exiting lighting system to energy efficient LED lighting at Bonita Creek Park. The project area is approximately 2 acres; comprised of a full-sized athletic field (210-ft x 360-ft) and the adjoining softball infield overlapping a corner of the proposed soccer field, see Location Map, Attachment A. The park is generally bounded by University Drive, La Vida, and La Salud. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
