Replacement gates shall match the gauge and quality of the recently replaced Black Gate. Replacement gate supporting structural elements shall match the quality and function of existing elements as they would have been when new. Replacement automation components shall be like kind/quality components from Liftmaster or equivalent alternatives approved at the Engineer's discretion. Please see the special provisions for the full scope of work. Other Details Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Noticing: No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. All responses for this Bid are due at or before the time shown on each Notice Inviting Bids. Late responses will not be accepted. The City is not responsible for any errors that may occur from the printing of any of these documents by bidders, including, but not limited to: scaling issues, print quality, failure to print and submission of all required documents.
