Sayisi Dene First Nation (SDFN) is seeking Proposals from water treatment equipment Suppliers for the supply of a new water treatment system to service their community. Sayisi Dene First Nation is located 200 km north of Thompson, Manitoba. The community is located on the shore of Tadoule Lake and is serviced by an airport via scheduled flights from Thompson and charter flights. Road access is limited to the winter road system through Lynn Lake, Manitoba during the winter months of January to March. The Project Management Team (PMT) includes representatives of the Owner (SDFN), the Professional Project Manager (KGS Group) and the Engineer and Contract Administrator (Neegan Burnside Ltd.). The Project will include the following main works: Design and Fabrication of water treatment equipment system including the following components: Conventional Treatment system Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Treatment unit Delivery to the General Contractor awarded the overall water treatment plant construction. Installation of the water treatment equipment including coordinating works with the General Contractor. Commissioning of the water treatment equipment upon completion of the General Contractor’s work.
