The project is for replacement of two (2) heating hot water boilers with two (2) condensing heating hot water boilers with dedicated boiler pumps, addition of an air separator to the heating hot water system, replacement of electric unit heater with hydronic unit heater, replacement of louvered doors and frames, and removal of the abandoned domestic water storage tank and pump. There are no alternates at this time. Substantial completion is 110 days from project start date. Final Completion is 140 days from project start date. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Murray State University, Procurement Services, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served.
