The Intermountain Conservation Camp: Relocate Facility project will replace the existing camp and will consist of the design and construction of the new CAL FIRE/CDCR administration buildings, bachelor office quarters, inmate dormitory, inmate kitchen/mess hall, inmate recreation building, inmate laundry building, inmate hobby building, inmate physical fitness building, inmate multipurpose building, inmate staging area, CAL FIRE warehouse, CDCR warehouse, CAL FIRE maintenance shop building, five-bay auto shop building, five-bay emergency crew transport building, five-bay CAL FIRE vehicle storage building, five-bay CDCR vehicle storage building, two bay dozer/transport building, garage, inmate family visit building, generator building, pump building, fire pump building, storage building, and a flammables storage building on a new site. Additionally, the scope of work will include utilities, site work, and related improvements to the new site. The project must be designed in accordance with all current regulations, codes, statutes, Governors Executive Order B-18-12, zero net energy (ZNE), and zero net carbon. The successful firm will provide professional architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and engineering design, and additional services, for the above-referenced design-bid-build project. The services may include, but are not limited to, preparation of construction documents, calculations, reports, assessments, studies, preliminary plans, working drawings, cost estimates, regulatory approvals, bidding and solicitation support, construction support and commissioning. All work must be performed under and be approved by a design professional licensed in the State of California. Anticipated commencement of design will be within the first quarter of 2024. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California. The estimated duration of this contract will be five (5) years.
