Project Description: The County of Solano, on behalf of the (Resource Management Department), hereinafter referred to as the "County," is soliciting bids to procure approximately 4900 tons of clean 5/16" (#8) chip seal (rock) aggregate. The County requires screened chip rock to be used in the County's chip seal program which meets the specification parameters established in this IFB. Bidders shall quote a price per ton. The tonnage amount indicated is the County's best estimate of the amount of required for the chip seal program. The actual quantity needed by the County may be greater or lesser as described herein.
