he Scope of work to include but not limited to the District will procure the play matting tiles. Contractor to coordinate the play matting tiles delivery on site. Contractor to fence their working area (for material delivery and during construction) to ensure a safe working environment on site Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, as detailed in the Contract Documents. Engineer's Estimate: $253,000 Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The Contract Time shall be Forty-Five (45) calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue. The Owner will not consider or accept any bids from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors. Contractor to demolish all the existing tetherball poles & basketball hoops on site. Poles to be cut flush to the ground and holes to be patched back.
