The Town of Fairfield on behalf of Fairfield Public Schools is seeking competitive bids from qualified Contractors to perform removal and proper disposal, and installation of three (3) new rooftop HVAC units at Fitts House - Fairfield Warde High School, 755 Melville Avenue, Fairfield, Connecticut. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: Demolition and removal of all equipment shall be the responsibility of the Contractor, demolition shall include proper disposal to allow for new installation of new HVAC rooftop unit. The new equipment system installation shall be complete in all respects, tested, accepted and ready to operate at the end of this project. Complete removal and replacement of a rooftop air conditioning unit with DX cooling and steam heat with new unit of similar size as indicated on the drawings and specifications. Controls upgrade to allow fully functional HVAC equipment. Ceiling grid demolition/removal under RTU's shall be provided by the Mechanical Contractor. After completion, grid and ceiling tiles shall be reinstalled and made to match or improve existing ceiling above.
