Reference Number 0000320663 General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - Warranty Information Required The Academy District 20 Invites Proposals from Qualified Firms to Serve as Construction Manager/general Contractor ("Contractor") in Providing Preconstruction and Construction Services for a New Discovery Canyon Campus Indoor Field House in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a Guaranteed Maximum Price ("Gmp") Construction Project. The project is anticipated to be a pre-engineered metal building about 100 feet long by 120 feet wide. The facility will have a synthetic turf floor surface, it will house batting cages and will accommodate indoor sports practices. The facility will have heat only, with no cooling and natural ventilation. It is not anticipated that any interior rooms will be provided. Restrooms will be housed at the existing campus buildings. No water or sewer connections are anticipated. Refer to architect's attached proposal for other assumptions. The Construction Budget for the project is $2.807M including owner's contingency.
