The work required by the project consists of providing: 1) Cleaning services and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of designated large diameter sanitary sewers (Nominal pipe diameters between 24 and 84 inches - approximately 170,000 linear feet (LF)), 2) Cleaning services and CCTV inspection of medium diameter sanitary sewers on an as requested basis (Nominal pipe diameter between 14" and 22" - approximately 40,000 LF), 3) Cleaning services and CCTV inspection of small diameter sanitary sewers on an as requested basis (Pipe diameters between 8" and 12" - approximately 100,000 LF), and 4) Cleaning of the Truman Storage Tank. Anyone submitting a bid for this project must have in their possession a copy of The Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority Standard Specifications dated September 2017. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of fifteen percent (15%) of the total bid amount must accompany the bid. Said checks or bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders upon Award of the Contract to the selected firm and execution of the Agreement. The Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority reserves the right to alter quantities and to accept or reject any or all bids or any portion of any bids, for any or no reason, including unavailability of appropriated funds as it may deem to be in its best interests.
