Site work and paving for a road / highway in Montvale, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of one (1) Base Bid and one (1) Alternate Bid. The Base Bid consists of roadway improvements along Summit Avenue from 150' West of Florence Court to North Avenue. Alternate Bid 'A' consists of roadway improvements along Summit Avenue from North Avenue to the New Jersey/New York Border. Work within the Base Bid and Alternate Bid includes HMA milling and paving, full depth pavement repair, sidewalk improvements including the construction of ADA accessible curb ramps, repair of curbs and asphalt driveways, installation of bicycle safe grates and type 'N-ECO' curb pieces, site restoration and other improvements. All work on this contract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The project on the outside and be addressed to the Borough of Montvale, and must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner and either a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Borough of Montvale for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2.
