Site work for a road / highway in Didsbury, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The specifications for highway construction work, which shall form part of this Agreement, are published in the following Government of Alberta Transportation manuals and documents: -General Specifications and Specifications Amendments for Highway and Bridge Construction Edition 16 2019 oSection 3.33 - -Standard Specifications for Highway Construction - Edition 16, 2019; -Traffic Accommodation in Work Zones Manual, 2nd Edition, 2018 The Contractor shall supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore, any labour, materials, equipment, tools or incidental items not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work, and no separate or additional payment will be made. All Spray Patch activities shall be carried out during daylight hours between 1/2 hour after sunrise and 1/2 hour before sunset. To reduce the impact to the public, any activities in the County Administration Building parking lot and at the Netook Industrial Park shall be scheduled only on weekends. Locations will be determined based on the needs of the County after award. No more than 10 separate locations will be identified. Spay patch will only be performed on hard-surfaced roadways (Asphalt overlay and Seal Coat). Quantities, location and extents of the work may be adjusted at the discretion of Mountain View County and as communicated in writing.
