This solicitation is being conducted by the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) on behalf of Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) to establish a contract for grounds maintenance services for its Weyers Cave, Virginia campus. In lieu of a Pre-Bid Conference, questions will be accepted by e-mail to Melissa Ryan through May 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM local time, any inquiries regarding this solicitation should be directed only to: Melissa Ryan, Senior Contract Officer at mryan@ssc.vccs.edu Phone: (540) 591-4122 The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, and materials, as necessary for the satisfactory provision of grounds maintenance for BRCC, as outlined in the General and Specific Requirements and in compliance with other requirements, specifications and terms and conditions contained herein. A. The work site shall include all turf and planted areas designated on the map attached as Attachment 6 and 7 for the Blue Ridge Community College, Weyers Cave campus. B. The work shall consist of mowing and trimming the lawn and grass. C. The Contractor shall perform the operations outlined below in order to meet all requirements and specifications of the contract, ensuring that the College campus consistently presents a neat appearance. D. The college reserves the right to add and/or delete zones/areas for the duration of an awarded contract. If a zone/area is removed, then new reduced pricing must be negotiated with college. If a new area/zone is added, then contract pricing shall be followed.
